Ingredients: Sugar, aquafaba powder, corn starch, cream of tartar
Royal Icing Recipe:
Combine 3 TBSP of meringue powder, 4 cups of powdered sugar, and 5 TBSP of warm water. Beat ingredients together until combined. Add flavor and color. For thin icing, add more water 1/2 TBSP at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Combine 1/2 cup of meringue powder and 1/2 cup of water in mixer bowl. Whip with whisk attachment until stiff peaks are reached (approximately 15 minutes).
Combine 3/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of hot water. Stir until dissolved. Add 1/3 cup of meringue powder and beat until mixture thickens (approximately 10 minutes). Mix in 3 and 1/2 cups of sifted powder sugar at a low speed. Mix in 2 cups of softened plant based butter at low speed. Mix in color and flavor.
